Windup Watch Fair: San Francisco ’23 Great People, Great Watches.

This year’s Windup was different for me. It was more about the people than the watches. Watches have introduced me to great people. Paul Sweetenham, from Farer, is one of the nicest guys I’ve met at Windup. The guys from Collective Horology are absolutely great dudes. The team from Fears, intimidated me with their outfit but spent so much time talking to us, answering and explaining everything about the brand. Formex, with Raphael and Marcus, another great pair of dudes. How to forget Mr. Mike France, spending the last minutes before closing, talking to us. Will Brackfield and the rest of the Christopher Ward team, were as great to chat to. All the brands I visited had so much passion and were so good to us. I am so grateful to them for making the trip to SF. Finally, we can’t leave out mr. Mike Pearson, a big Aston Villa fan.

From the enthusiast side, meeting Luc  (@lucalbert) was a highlight. This dude has more stories than you can imagine. Very friendly man and his enthusiasm for the hobby shows. There is so many people to mention and so little time.

Thanks again everyone for making the Windup weekend so special. On that note, my contribution is photos. You can check them out below. Please enjoy them.
