Test Drive: Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition

I am back at it again test driving another watch. This time, I bring to you the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. More specifically, the one for the upcoming (and delayed) movie, No Time to Die.

Man, this one is definitely a beauty. I was under the impression that this watch would feel big on the wrist but it is actually VERY comfortable. Not that the Seamaster (SM) is uncomfortable but the Titanium does a great job here.

As much as I respect and appreciate the metal bracelet option offered with this watch, this is one of the instances where I would have second thoughts about choosing it. It might have been my lack of patience adjusting it, but I felt more comfortable with the NATO strap. Yes, the mesh bracelet is nice and a bracelet would be my first option, usually, but there is something about it that doesn’t click with me. I know, the NATO is not as durable as a bracelet, especially as a Titanium bracelet, but again, in this instance I would consider the NATO.

Overall, this watch is lovely, I would definitely recommend it. The whole vintage look of the yellow markers is a point of contention for some but not for me. I do appreciate the color combinations on this watch. Another detail to appreciate is the lack of 007 branding on the watch, you don’t have to be a 007 fan to rock it. The gray solid dial is also a nice change from the textured dials found on the other SM models.

With the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806, this watch is very accurate, highly durable, water resistant to 300m and highly anti-magnetic, what else do you need? It might not be the cheapest SM but not all of them are made out of Titanium either. You can find this watch on the Omega website for $9200 with the mesh bracelet, and $8,100 on a NATO.

Let me know your thoughts on this one, again I hope you find this interesting and useful.
