Monterey Car Week 2023 review: Ultimate Car Lover’s Paradise.

Here is the 3DLanes photo report of Monterey Car Week. I was able to attend four events this year, definitely more than last. As the kids get older, it gets a little easier to make them part of these events. Mainly because they enjoy them now. Still some struggles hauling around two little kids. That, and the fact that it was their first week of school, did not make it any easier to hit all the events we wanted.

The following photos are from the Rolex Pre-Reunion, Canepa and Gordon Murray unveiling event, Werks reunion, and the Corkscrew Hillclimb event.

Pre-Reunion is a great public secret. Way less people, same sweet and beautiful cars. Definitely easier to maneuver with two kids. Canepa… Man, remember the good old Cars and Coffee days they used to offer us? I certainly do. These open houses are tiny doses that help us reminisce those days. Exotic cars every weekend can spoil you, I feel like they spoiled me a bit.

Werks Reunion, is a bit unfair for me to share any judgement, or to make any comparisons but I was lucky enough to attend Lufgekuhlt 9 this year. Werks felt like a small version of it. The amount of cars was obviously less and the location not as great for photos as Mare island in Vallejo. Finally, The Corkscrew Hillclimb was great. The kids and myself had a blast, and we were able to see a section of Laguna Seca being run backwards.

I hope you have fun looking at the pictures as much as I did taking them. Below you can find all the photos in Flickr but it should also work as a carousel, on this same webpage.
