SCCA Autocross Round 11 (10/1/17) Continued from Round 10…

SCCA Round 11/ AAS Round 16 – November 1, 2017.

This is the continued post of the SCCA Autocross Runs from Round 10 and 11.

This is the second day of this double weekend, Round 11. The usual practice for this second day is to run the same course but backwards, this is why I thought these runs would not present a probelm… Man I was wrong (Results of the whole day AAS format, SCCA format).

Run 1 (41.451(DNF))

First run of the day, unfortunately, I got a Did Not Finish (DNF) on this one for getting out of the course and not returning on the same spot I exited.

Run 2 (40.484)

Second run, a clean run but not competitive enough to keep up with the main guys in the class.

This third run was not clean. I think I killed a cone at the second slalom or on the last turn, for coming in too fast.

Run 4 (40.708)

Clean run but still not competitive. I let the DNF and the cone on the third run get in my head way too much.

Not what I would call a successful day but now that I look back and analyze, I can admit that I let my mistakes get in my head.
