Why should I buy them?

Having an extra set of tires, either winter tires, track or Autocross tires, can become a pain, either by dealing with the tire marks on your clothes, moving tires around in your garage or by taking them to the event.

The bags are a long strip of fabric that wraps around the tire with the help of strips of Velcro. The Velcro is durable enough and the fabric is really tough to withstand the weight of the tire and its handling. There is a handle on the outside of the bag that makes the carrying of the tires extremely easy.

Where can I buy them?

There are multiple sellers for these bags. This particular brand I got it from Costco, which makes it possible for you to buy only if you are a member. The price of the bags at the time of my purchase was $39.99. Initially, the bags were going to be purchased from Amazon but this was a higher price ($54.99) and before I knew the availability at Costco.

I found these tire covers, or tire bags, as they are referred on the package, a long time ago. I was never sure if I would ever need them. Ever since we moved, the tires are out in the open and exposed to the climate changes. I knew I had to do something about it. The tires weren’t going to last this coming season of Autocross if I didn’t. I have not been attending the Autocross events as much as I would like but I think I made the right purchase.

Stop thinking about it and do it. If changing tires is a pain in your rear quarter panel, you might want to check these out.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments about these bags. Until the next one.
