This is a 2015 VW MK7 GTI Maintenance Check list. An accountability post for me also. (Updated: 8/9/21, 9/19/21, 10/18/23, 12/02/23, 10/05/24)
Usually, as a guideline I try to follow DAP/ VW recommended schedule. Which is a little tighter than the maintenance recommended by Volkswagen.
I have divided the list in Wants and Needs. Wants, are obviously things I want to do to the car but not crucial for the car performance. The Needs are actual items that the car should use to run as intended.
Specified Maintenance Items:
Front Wipers: 650mm / 26″ and 450mm / 18″.
Rear Wiper: 280mm / 11″.
Suspension to be refreshed at around 70K miles.
Change your tires every six to ten years. Depending on your driving, 36K to 75K miles.
Motor Oil: 5W-40
Oil Filter: 06L 115 562 8
Coolant:
Wants:
Paint Correction.
Front left headlight.
Front bumper.
Performance Exhaust.
Car cover.
