Zoom-Zoom into Shape: Ultimate 2014 Mazda CX-9 Maintenance Checklist

This is your (mine) 2014 Mazda CX-9 Maintenance Check list. An accountability post for me (UPDATED: 8/9/21, 9/19/21, 12/02/23, 10/05/24)

As a general guideline I try to follow the manufacturer recommended schedule and fluids.

I have divided the list in Wants and Needs. Wants, are obviously things I want to do to the car but not crucial for the car performance. The Needs are actual items that the car should use to run as intended.

Specified Maintenance Items:

Front wipers: 26″ and 17″.

Rear wiper: 350mm / 14″mm.

Air Filter: WIX 46935

Motor Oil: 5W-20 Switched to synthetic (15mm hex for the oil pan bolt).

Oil Filter: WIX 51516

Coolant: Asian Vehicle 50/50 Prediluted.

Wants:

Backup camera. But we will survive without it. I mean it has been a few years already without it.

Check engine light. (Seems to be a gas cap issue). The gas cap was changed but the check engine light remained on. The fuel system must be checked, since it is a common issue on these cars. FIXED Gas vapor valve needed replacement.
