Watch resources

Here are some of the sources of information I go to when it comes to finding out information about watches:

Caliber Corner

Caliber Corner is an amazing resource if you are interested in learning about movements. It is a database/ directory of movements. Again, I cannot emphasize enough how good of a resource you have here. You can access the site here.

The Gray Nato (TGN)

TGN is a great podcast that, yes, the main focus is watches, but it also touches on cars, gear, etc. They are very well rounded guys, with very sound advice in case you need it. I have added a link to their substack here, where you can find the show notes, a player for the podcast, etc. You can go give it a listen here.

Spirit Of Time Podcast

If you are a person that likes imbibing, the Spirit Of Time podcast is a place where you can mix your love for booze (and food), and your love for watches. These guys are from SoCal, me being an LA guy, you know I need to support. Great conversations, great watches, and a great vibe altogether. If this sounds appealing to you, you can give it a listen here or you can find them on your favorite podcast app.

Worn & Wound

Worn and wound is an online magazine that is an excellent source of information for new and old watches, watches reviews, podcast, etc. Their attention is split between the mainstream watch brands and independent brands. You can find their website here.

Hodinkee

Hodinkee, like W&W is an online magazine that focuses on watches. Hodinkee has some independent watch makers on their reviews an articles, although, not as much as W&W. A very reliable source of information, watches, accessories, reviews, podcast, etc. You can access their website here.

Bark and Jack

Opinion, this is a youTube channel where you can find opinions about the watch world. Bark and Jack is a great YouTube channel to follow. Entertaining and informative videos. The way I see it, he gives us the consumer/ watch enthusiast perspective but with a little more depth. Again, well recommended channel, and if you go to his website, you can find from watch accessories to coffee. Go check out Bark and Jack here.

TIMELINE Watch

A timeline of watches that can help you find a specific style and/ or brand you are looking for. You can go to Dan Henry’s Timeline website here.
