What is 3DLanes?
3DLanes is an outlet. An outlet for two of my big hobbies, watches and cars.
Why was 3DLanes born?
The idea is to give resources, ideas, insights, a connection to every Car & Watch Lover out there.
The goal is not to divide but to connect the Auto & Watch enthusiasts out there. Share all the hard work and great content created by the same passion we all share.
Who is behind 3DLanes?
Behind 3DLanes is the one and only, famous only at his own home, Denny Laines. I became somehow interested with cars when I was in 6th grade. My uncle used to assemble model airplanes and he started me with model cars, legos, hot wheels, you name it.
I never imagined to be able to see those model cars as real vehicles. As a kid, to see them as toys was already an achievement, specially coming from a not wealthy background. Add to that being raised in a foreign country.
My love for cars somehow stalled in my early teen years, due to video games and other type of entertainment, but was later re-awaken due to my friends being really immersed in the whole car world.
My watch love on the other hand, was somehow present there all the time. Beginning with small Seiko watches as a kid, ninja turtle watches, databanks, which I never owned, just admired from afar. Then moving to inheriting my grandfather’s Citizens.
The love for watches is only growing now, along with my love for cars and everything that involves engineering creativity. I hope to either be a trigger for your appreciation for these or one of the sources you rely on to feed them.
